As a biological concept, an animal, or human is a person who has matured. Adults are a social concept and a legal one within the world of humans. An adult who is legally mature is, as opposed to "minors" (also known as non-adults), is someone who is over the age of majority and is therefore considered independent, responsible as well as autonomous. Also known as "majors" and "majors", they may also be said as having reached the age of adulthood. The point at which a person becomes an adult legally is 18 years old, however the definition of"legal maturity" may differ based on the country or legal system in place, and also their psychological state.

The age of adulthood marks the point that an individual has reached maturity in terms of both mental and physical development. Typically, the age of adulthood is around age 21, or 20. Middle age, commencing approximately 40 years of age then follows by the age of 60 years. There are three major levels of adulthood: early the age of adulthood (18 up to the mid-30s) and middle adulthood (mid-30s until mid-60s) and then the final stage of adulthood (mid-60s until end of life). In the early years of adulthood, our body has reached its physical maturity to the maximum. But, the size and weight may increase. In early adulthood our physical abilities reach their peak. They include strength of muscles and speed of reaction.
